The SBM blog promotes Christian spiritual formation and discipleship through daily Bible reading. Each day a scripture verse or passage is post for meditation and study.

Daily Bible meditatiosn are selected from the Old Testament law and history books, the Old Testament wisdom literature and prophets, or from the New Testament. Over the course of a year, SBM will post Bible meditations from all or almost all the books of the Bible. 

All scripture quotations used on this blog are from the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HSCB), the New Living Translation (NLT), and the English Standard Version (ESV).

You may receive a daily Bible meditation by email each day by subscribing to SBM with your email address. Links to the daily Bible readings are also posted on an associated SBM Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/StevesBibleMeditations. You can Like the SBM Facebook page and a link to the daily Bible meditation will be posted on your Facebook page each day.
